A few bits and bobs from No7...

So, I know I haven't blogged in ages, but I kind of got a little bored (I know, it's a little early right!) but I think I was doing too many posts at a time and trying to get it all out! But anyway, Boots have got 3 for 2 at the moment on No7 so I thought I would go have a look.

My mum has a couple of things from here but I never really thought about them as a brand, but I was so wrong! After reading makeupsavvy's (fab blog by the way!) article I went and brought some things she had reviewed about.

Hot Cloth Clenser. Wow. This is so good!!!! When I saw this it instantly reminded me of the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser, but that is out of my budget so I went for this. They say:

'The combination of this rich, indulgent cleanser and the gentle exfoliating muslin cloth whisks away dead skin cells and daily grime whilst stimulating circulation, leaving your skin deeply clean, soft and radiant.'

This is hugeeee! £9
I tried this out and I am quite fussy when it comes to face products but this leaves my skin soft and not irritated at all. Though I am going to get a few more muslin cloths since you only get 1, but for the price I'm not complaining. Also it has over 50 five star review so it shouldn't disappoint!

Blender brush. This cost me like £1.60! I had the £5 voucher so I thought why not? (Gutted they're finished) :(
I'm really glad I got this, since it blends my eyeshadow with ease and I quite like the short handle, so it's a good size. I wouldn't mind even paying full price for this though! I really want to check out their other brushes, especially the foundation and concealer brush!

Rubbish photo, I know! Still messing around with my camera...

Mineral Blusher. This is another great product! It's very pigmented so you only need to use a very tiny bit and that will cover both cheeks, so this is going to definitely last me ages! And it's mineral too so hopefully it won't be harsh on my skin (mineral..it just sounds so good, right?). Even though it comes with a mini brush, I don't really like it, since it's a little scratchy, but it'll do the job for now (until I can get a better kabuki brush!)

Soft Damsom £9

And last up, I got the Creme Touch. I needed a powder to set my foundation, since I don't like my current one, and this does the job. It just finishes off my foundation nicely and the colour suits me. Although they do only have like 4 colours, so I'm not sure this is going to be right for everyone.

In Honeymilk £9

Sleek Palettes

Wow. These palettes are amazing. I know everyone knows about these but sometimes you can never find swatches for them so I've put them up. But if you're not familiar with them, Sleek palettes are brilliant quality and they are so inexpensive!

They all contain 12 eye shadows and they are so pigmented, you wouldn't believe that you paid so little for it! All of them are shimmery except the black.

I,ve also got the storm palette which I love since I really like neutral colours and they are perfect for everyday. I would really recommend these palettes since they are
an absolute bargain!

Simple Kind To Skin Review

Simple products, well how can you to describe them..well it's simple really, the name says it all! They don't use any perfume or colours which can harm your skin and they use a lot of vitamin goodness in their products. I have a couple of things from their Kind To Skin range including the cleansing lotion, toner and moisturizer. I really liked the cleansing lotion since it was really gentle and removed any dirt from my face. Plus it doesn't dry my skin out whilst cleansing it.

I was also impressed with the Simple facial toner since it softened and refreshed my skin. However my least favourite product was the moisturizer. I know I'm probably going contrary to reviews but I have really dry skin and I felt it just wasn't as moisturizing as  the Coco Butter or Johnson's lotion that I use! I would definitely repurchase the other two since they are great and really inexpensive.
